Zoë helps organizations maximize their positive impact.
Zoë thinks, creates and delivers in pixels (and the real world) for her clients via August; the independent, multi award-winning, and Certified B Corp agency she co-founded in 2004. A fast-moving, quick-thinking creative with a deep communications background, Zoë chooses to meld her business nous with her philanthropic heart.
She focuses mainly on STEM, the Arts, Education, and Government sectors, working with clients such as Engineers Without Borders Canada, Australian National Academy of Music, RSPCA, Yarra Valley Water, Development Victoria, Helen Macpherson Smith Trust, and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
With a co-hosting gig on ABC radio talking all things digital, as well as long-term programs on Radio National where August covers design, tech and entrepreneurship, she is also a guest lecturer at BCorp Leadership Development conferences, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and Monash University, and is Chair of the Swinburne University Multimedia Course Advisory Committee.
Zoë was Vice-President of the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) Victorian Chapter for four years prior to moving to Canada in 2016 to establish the first international office of August in Toronto. August UK also launched in June 2017. Zoë became involved in SheEO as an Activator in 2016 and continues to support women-led ventures. In 2017 she was appointed the co-chair of the SoDA Diversity Initiative. SoDA is a global member-only organisation of independent digital agencies working to improve the quality and positive impact of technology
