Valeria Paz is a Chilean Australian multidisciplinary health professional currently working in Belgrave.
She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science, a Diploma of Shiatsu & Oriental Therapies, and a Diploma of Transpersonal Counselling; a curious and integrative weave of Western Science, traditional healing energy work, and humanistic psychotherapy, perfect for health paradigms moving evermore towards more integrative approaches to individual wellbeing.
In another life she spent many years working in the finance, technology, and corporate sectors in Melbourne as an administrative and service leader, and understands the everyday pressures of the modern world in a grounded and realistic way.
Her self-exploration and personal healing has taken her to seek the aid and guidance from holders of traditional knowledge of her own lineages in her native South America, Asia, and here in Australia. She is an intersectional feminist and humanitarian at heart.
Valeria’s areas of particular interest in shiatsu bodywork and somatic psychotherapy frameworks includes helping clients who are facing issues with depression, anxiety and stress, medically unexplained symptoms (MUS), chronic pain, fatigue, emotional and physical trauma, disability, as well as tending to issues of women’s health, development and spirituality.
