About Me

Lucy Bracey has been part of Way Back When Consulting Historians since 2009. She has broad experience in historical research, oral history, exhibitions, audio documentary making and digital history. Lucy loves exploring community histories through new and exciting formats including digital story-telling, websites and oral history projects.
She is the co-author of a number of commissioned histories including A Journey of Hope and Resilience: Safeguarding Children for 120, Under the Red Ribbon: Thirty Years of the Victorian AIDS Council, as well as several other educational and community histories.
Lucy is a member of Oral History Victoria, a friend of the History Council of Victoria, past President of the Professional Historians Association (Victoria) and a former councillor for the Royal Historical Society of Victoria.
