About Me
Passionate about unlocking the potential for women in business Lisa left a corporate career & ventured in to running Business in Heels. Hell bent on making a difference to women she has grown the business turnover 300% with the help of Co-Owner Jo Plummer. The Business operates in over 25 locations and connects over 160,000 women in business, helping them get the education, marketing and connections they need to succeed.
Renown for her interviews, Lisa is often watched on social media as she teases out the great stories of female entrepreneurs. She may be seen presenting at one of the many Business in Heels events or as an educator of one of their many workshops. She works tirelessly to encourage, inspire and assure women that they are good enough.
Her signature talk, “From Values to Profitability”, follows her own personal journey which will demonstrate how you can embed your values into your business. How Business in Heels has grown from 10- 165K connections and how through a focus on business excellence you too can grow your business. Finally how we can push the boundaries, being disruptive and together make a difference on a global scale.
Lisa has held various senior roles with Target, Spotlight and Best and Less. The wealth of experience she gained in those corporations is now balanced by the demands of a CEO role in a small business. She gets that it is not what you know but who you know.
The mother of two is passionate about helping women understand the “fuggle “( family life juggle) and giving them tips and ideas on how to be kind to yourself. She also works on various fundraisers to support St Vincent de Paul, Fitted for Work and has started the Filanthropino project to help support women in the Philippines.
