Linette Etheredge is a PhD candidate and Teaching Associate in the Faculty of Education, Monash University. Her research explores the intersections between young people, intimate relationships, digital spaces and education through creative filmmaking. She is an experienced educator, documentary film maker and mother of four energetic young people.
Linette has taught students and teaching professionals in the tertiary, secondary, vocational and international sectors.
She has published articles in both professional and peer reviewed journals about young people, intimate relationships, sexuality, pornography and creative learning practices in education. In 2016, Linette won the Australian Association for Researchers in Education (AARE) Postgraduate student researcher award. As part of her work to engage young people in educational activities promoting healthy and equitable intimate relationships, Linette delivers interactive presentations to teaching staff, parents and students in schools across Melbourne.
