About Me
Leharna Black has been instrumental in assisting some of Australia’s blue chip organisations and business executives achieve their strategic goals. Following a career in accounting, marketing and consulting, she has been the Managing Director of strategic consulting business Whoosh Consulting Pty Ltd since 1999.
She has successfully undertaken numerous engagements delivering business improvement, business strategy, technology strategy, operations management, business process re-engineering and organisational effectiveness programs over her 25+ year career. Leharna has an impressive track record of helping individuals, teams, business units and organisations transcend their performance, their profitability, and creating loyal, engaged staff along the way.
Leharna’s non-executive director experience includes Tweddle Child + Family Health Hospital, Women’s Circus (Chairman), Implant Media Pty Ltd (Company Secretary), Magnum Gold Ltd, People & Parks Foundation, Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine and Centre for Education and Research into Environmental Sustainability.
She has a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) Degree, a Diploma in Business (Accounting) and a Masters in Business Administration.
Leharna is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the Australia Society of CPA’s. Her other activities, training and qualifications include motivational speaker, events management and stage management.
