I believe in creating content that cares.
Director/Impact Producer
I’m a Melbourne based Director/Impact Producer by day, Graphic artist, Advocate, and Ableton enthusiast by night. I draw childhood experiences of racial and socio-economic challenges to create collaborative and innovative video work that helps build a stronger, more visible, and diverse world.
After working in Australian commercial TV/film for eight years, I co-founded independent content agency ‘Mills & Boom’ working with organisations like L2R (supporting diverse, young dancers), YSAS and Footprints (Youth Support and Advocacy organisations) and Miromaa (Indigenous Language Programs and Advocacy) as well as an array of diverse dance and cultural groups across Australia.
She is also sought out by companies (Virgin Australia Fashion Festival, Fremantle Australia, various film production companies) to help increase the diversity of their brand, strategies, and content through her work.
I’m currently working on ‘WizDom’, a documentary/ dance performance piece challenging Australian male identity and mental health, and ‘Born to Stand Out’, a documentary/social-impact strategy pivoting the stigma around young Sudanese Australians.
I’m proud to say my work has been screened internationally (Canada, France). And in 2020, I was selected as a ‘Leading Light’ at AIDC, and am currently part of WIFT VIC’s ‘MentorHer’ program.
I am the acting administrator for the NMF organisation and an active member of WIFT (Women in Film/TV Australia).
