Kathryn Arndt is CEO of the Victorian Local Governance Association (VLGA). The VLGA is an independent organisation that supports councils and councillors in good local governance through policy, advocacy, networking and professional development.
Kathryn has many years of experience as a non-executive director and currently sits on the board of Diabetes Victoria and is Company Secretary of the Royal Melbourne Tennis Club. Kathryn is a Council Member on the Victorian Ministerial Council on Women’s Equality. In her capacity as CEO of the VLGA, Kathryn is a member of the Women’s Roundtable for Local Government, chaired by the Minister for Local Government, Hon Adem Somyurek MLC. She is also former Deputy Chair of Access Health & Community.
Kathryn is particularly passionate about applying her skills to create valued and sustainable models supported by effective infrastructure and people. As part of this process, Kathryn advocates for transparency, integrity and cross-collaboration between government, business and NFPs. These relationships provide the foundation for agility and innovative ways of thinking to address complex issues in economic and environmental wellbeing, sustainability, service delivery and social justice.
