About Me
Jenny Vandyke is the managing director of Startup Adelaide, and Jenny is on a mission to help South Australia to pivot from the industrial age to the entrepreneurial age. Working with startups since the age of 12, over the last 20 years she has worked with numerous startups from the tech and social enterprise sectors, from bootstrapped operations to billion dollar fintech startups in Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide.
Her experience is quite unique, in that her hands-on, startup experience has overlapped with 15 years in the corporate world, working at a senior level on major projects with Australia’s largest companies, including National Australia Bank and KPMG.
Published in 2013, Jenny’s first book focussed on her corporate innovation experiences: The Innovation Recipe: Key ingredients for world-class results in big business.
Over the years Jenny has delivered hundreds of workshops and keynotes, including recent keynotes for SouthStart, CPA Week, and the Vivid Festival. Jenny is also a judge for the Anthill Magazine Smart 100 Awards, judging the most innovative products in Australia.
Jenny moved from Melbourne to Adelaide in 2015, and regularly travels around Australia for speaking engagements and client projects. Jenny is a passionate supporter of her new hometown. Jenny believes there has never been a better time to be living and working in Adelaide.
