Freya co-founded Ramona Magazine for Girls (previously Tigress Magazine) as a way to channel her feminist rage into a positive for the younger generation. The magazine is founded as an alternative to boring, image-obsessed teen media, and is based around Freya’s core values of creative expression, equality and kindness. The publication has contributors from all around the world, and is a place for readers to acknowledge each other for who they are: beautiful, strong, quirky, clever, unique and everything in between.
Freya has a Bachelor of Music Performance from the VCA and hopes to find time to write music for film one day. You can often find her writing and playing music, making colourful art, discussing the virtues of feminism and chasing her cat Phoenix around the house. Freya loves coffee, rain and the ocean.
