Emily Unity is a mental health professional and software engineer. They are also a queer, culturally diverse, and neurodiverse young person.
They have a diverse professional portfolio, including working with headspace, Orygen, Beyond Blue, and others.
Emily has lived experience of mental health, LGBTIQA+, disability, refugee/migrant background, homelessness, suicide and self-harm, and being a carer.
They were recently the 2021 Mental Health Advocate of the Year, Youth of the Year, and Young Non-Binary Person of the Year.
Emily endeavours to use their professional and lived experience to help design a future for all people, regardless of background, identity, or neurodiversity.
