Dr Sharna Jamadar is a neuroscientist and academic interested in understanding how our life experiences changes our brains. She is interested in how these life experiences may convey risk or resilience to the ageing process. Sharna is highly interdisciplinary in her approach, bringing together innovative neuroscience techniques with psychology, biomedical engineering, social science, epidemiology and philosophy, to understand how our experiences shape our brains.
Dr Jamadar is a recognised advocate for diversity and equity in STEMM, and holds positions on the Academy of Science Equity & Diversity Working Group, and Science & Technology Australia Superstars of STEM.
