Counteracting the damage mainstream media has on women’s self esteem
Personal Style Specialist
Ageing, Community Service and Engagement, Motivational Speaking, Social Justice and Human Rights, Voluntary Work
Donna has advised countless people on personal style and presentation for over a decade. She particularly enjoys working with people in transition, special needs and those beginning a new chapter away from their primary career. Helping people articulate who they are, what messages they want to project, and showing them how to reflect this sartorially, is her speciality.
In 2017 The School of Life invited Donna to be a guest speaker in both Melbourne and Sydney at The Art of Getting Dressed, their only personal style workshop globally. In 2018 Donna was stylist for the groundbreaking and inclusive Access to Fashion runway event at Melbourne Fashion Week, exclusively featuring models with disability.
She was President of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) Melbourne Chapter from 2015-17 and Associate Editor of AICI GLOBAL magazine for three years.
In a previous life a team Donna led was awarded two Prime Minister’s Awards for their Community Programs social inclusion initiatives and she personally received an Australia Day Award through the Public Service Commission for her work. She also shares a United Nations Award with John Hughes for their film, River of Dreams, for its contribution to environmental awareness.
