Corina Modderman is a lecturer in Social Work and Social Policy at the La Trobe Rural Health School, Shepparton campus.
Her passion is child protection service delivery and her academic role is informed by extensive international experience in the field of statutory and community based child protection.
Corina has developed a broad range of expertise and is an accredited AASW social worker. She practiced in child protection services in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Australia. Corina held a number of senior leadership roles in human services organisations and graduated from the Institute of Management and Leadership (UK) in July 2009.
Corina’s research interests include pressing challenges facing contemporary social work across a diverse and changing world: child protection, migration, Indigenous children and family violence.
