Anna is an applied social scientist with expertise in public health, qualitative and mixed methods research. Her program of research focuses on the lived experience and health needs of marginalised and hard-to-reach populations such as people who inject drugs and people living with hepatitis. Most recently, Anna has been working on research with Indigenous communities on building responses to family violence. Anna’s research highlights the ways in which health and wellbeing can be severely impacted by social inequalities and marginalisation and where policy can make a difference.
